Ah, nothing like it..... basking in the sunshine on a fine Scottish day, a large selection of Italian cars and Ice cream.

I managed to make the 2nd St.Andrews Italian Car Day without a hitch even being able to spend time preparing the car with a washing and a polishing the Abarth before setting out. I also managed to print out a few pictures of interest and power graphs the sort of thing that keeps the punter happy. Sticking them to the windows did the trick, a constant flow of questions and great deal of enthousiam was generated around the Abarth, I was more than happy to get interactive with the crowd.

We were treated to good weather that was mainly sunshine with a couple of summer showers to remind us that this is the northern Scotland. The turnout and standard of cars was very good with a few unusual cars turning up. Most marques were represented from a Fiat 500 to a Ferrari 512TR although we were missing Lamborghini and De Tomaso.

I had great chat all day and found a number of spares part supplies, well that is what these shows are all about is it not?

The above picture showing the Abarth in it's normal pose surrounded by inquisitive onlookers - told you the power graphs and rebuild photo's keep the punters happy!
